To establish an internal MEDC system to evaluate the educational, research and service processes through the performance indicators for the inputs, operations and outputs via:-

• To contribute to the development of FMHS Strategic Plan,
• To develop and implement a description mechanism for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs and curricula in line with quality standards and in cooperation with FMHS scientific departments,
• To establish a Student Support System (academic, physical and health support and student activities)
• To give due attention to training and the dissemination of a culture of quality and accreditation among leaders, faculty teachers and their assistants, students and administrators,
• To set up a Performance Appraisal and Analysis System,
• To develop a precise and integrated database and to keep the web site updated,
• To prepare the college to meet the requirements of local accreditation standards,
• To establishment of a supervision, follow-up and periodic reporting mechanism on FMHS activities and outputs in accordance with the quality and accreditation standards,
• To restructure the Sana’a University Medical Journal to ensure its continuity. This is mainly due to the fact that the continuity of this journal is a prerequisite condition for obtaining the international number. Additionally, MEDC will ensure that a sum of money will be available to be used as wages for the arbitration committees to overcome any delay in the publishing this journal,
• To establish a direct relationship with FMHS students in order to have a first-hand experience of the problems facing the educational process,
• To evaluate, develop and follow-up the performance of FMHS teachers through organizing scientific workshops and symposiums, and
• To organize an annual scientific conference “The Annual Conference of the Faculty of Medicine, Sana'a University” will be held annually for a one week period of time to discuss scientific researches to be submitted by FMHS teachers in all departments and divisions, as well as to discuss new medical developments and updates. MEDC will also ensure that this conference takes place every year.
