Center Vision and Mission

MEDC Mission:

To adopt quality and accreditation standards at FMHS in an ethical and creative environment.

MEDC Vision:

  1. To develop and improve FMHS educational process in line with global standards,
  2. To meet international recognition requirements for FMHS diplomas,
  3. The training and development of FMHS teaching staff to improve teaching performance in line with global standards
  4. To review and upgrade FMHS curriculum
  5. To set up an internal quality assurance system that is accredited both locally and regionally

MEDICAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The Medical Education Development Centre (MEDC) was established by the decision of the Sana’a University Rector No. 672 of 2002. It marks an important event at FMHS since it is competent to review FMHS curricula and train FMHS teachers on the development of educational programs and on modern methods in the teaching and learning processes. Its duties include promoting the development and implementation of the Continuing Education Plan. This center oversees the Quality Assurance & Academic Accreditation Unit and the Sana’a University Journal of Medical Sciences.
